Adam Tomaszewski received his first piano lessons at the age of six from Corinna Simon. Between 2007 and 2010 he was a junior student, initially at the Julius Stern Institute, then at the Hanns Eisler College of Music, at both in the studio of Prof. Fabio Bidini, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree from 2010–15. He completed his Master’s degree in 2019 in the class of Janusz Olejniczak at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.

From 2002 to 2009, Adam Tomaszewski successfully participated in the "Jugend musiziert" competition a number of times, both as a soloist and in the chamber music and piano accompaniment categories, winning first prize several times at all levels. In 2009, he won first prize at the national "Jugend musiziert" competition with the highest possible score. In addition, this earned him the Eduard Söring Prize of the German Musical Life Foundation and the Special Prize of the City of Erlangen (best interpretation of a contemporary work).

For several years now, Adam Tomaszewski has cultivated an active concert schedule as soloist and chamber musician. Thus, he played in Berlin’s Konzerthaus under the auspices of Young Euro Classic, at the Kissinger Sommer Music Festival, at the Day of Talents in Berlin, and several times at the awarding of the Berlin Peace Clock. In February 2011, Adam Tomaszewski made his debut in Berlin’s Philharmonie. He has since appeared in many European countries, including Italy, France, Poland, Belgium, and Spain. In 2017, he opened the Silesian Beethoven Festival in Glogowek as a soloist with the Leopoldinum Chamber Orchestra. In 2020, together with his duo partner Simon Zhu, he won the Grand Prix at the chamber music competition in Bydgoszcz, and in 2022, with Krzysztof Polonek, the concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, he opened the Slaskie Lato Muzyczne Festival. Adam Tomaszewski is a scholarship holder of the International Beethoven Society, the European Forum for Polish Music, and the promotion program "New Start Culture" of the German Music Council and the State of Berlin. In 2024, another CD will be released on the eda records label with chamber music works by Bolko von Hochberg, likewise with Adam Tomaszewski as the piano partner of the Polish String Quartet Berlin.
